Il Divo are an operatic vocal group under the Syco music label, consisting of David Miller, Sebastien Izambard, Urs Buhler and Carlos Marin.
The idea to create an operatic band which combines pop and opera music was first conceived in early 2001. The band was formed after an international search which took more than two years to carry out.
Simon Cowell claims to have discovered the group.
